Right! So I am off on a 3½ week trip to Fukuoka, Japan in two days time, and rushing to get things done (today, so I won't have to do anything tomorrow :-P).

For those who don' t know, I am going to an Orphanage to work as a volunteer worker. Before that, I will be on a four day homestay at the family who owns the company that has helped me organize the trip - Pace International. Not really sure what to expect, since I don't know too much about the orphanage I am going to -- no idea how many people, which ages (?-18, I have read), nor what I will be doing. Hoping I will not get set to clean the floor with a toothbrush -- not a very social job.. ;)

Anyhow. As of now, I have not managed to get my Twitter feed linked in as blog posts, so if I update via Twitter, it will instead be visible on the right hand bar beside this blog post. If there is Wi-Fi where I am going, I will use my iPod to update Twitter. Assuming I will get other chances to go online, I hope to make some longer blog posts here, and also update with a few images for my gallery -- no promises, though ;)

Anyhow, wish me luck - might need it to speak proper Japanese ;)
